Students of Wits University have yell for ‘Pravin must go’ as they chase Public Enterprise Minister, Pravin Gordhan, away over loadshedding issue.
In the trending video, the students were heard shouting ‘Pravin must go’ and it immediately made the security come up on the podium.
“You have the nerve to show yourself in public and talk to us as if everything is normal. You’ve destroyed our lives, we live in the dark” – Wits student (2022) .
These are the words that got him pointing fingers and shouting at students, before being whisked away by security.
According to information, Public Enterprise Minister Pravin Gordhan delivered a lecture at the Wits school on reforming state-owned entities.
Pravin in his address told students that the reason we have load shedding is because of low quality coal and that we need renewables.

He says Pravin was finance minister in the Zuma years. He’s call for accountability was acknowledged by students as they disrupted the lecture.
